Welcome to Justice and Mercy (JAM) Community Integrated Project

Education & Psychosocial Support

Our program is dedicated to supporting orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) by providing school fees assistance to enhance attendance and retention in schools, believing that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty. We conduct mentorship sessions for teenagers on topics such as personal development, communication skills, HIV/AIDS awareness, drug abuse prevention, and career choices, equipping them with essential life skills. Health talks in selected learning institutions promote healthy growth and behaviour, ensuring adolescents avoid toxic influences that hinder their educational progress, utilizing the JAM Life Skills Manual for structured discussions. Our youth empowerment program, in collaboration with (AJIRA), provides out-of-school youth with basic computer literacy and training on accessing online business opportunities, bridging the gap between education and employment. Through Child Rights Club sessions in primary schools, we educate children on their rights and responsibilities, fostering awareness and self-advocacy. We also implement the Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) program for boys under 17 in primary schools, instilling positive masculinity, respect, and leadership skills. Our mission is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where children and youth can grow, learn, and thrive, shaping a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
