JAM partners with the Probation Department of South Nyanza region and prisons in Homa Bay County to support the rehabilitation and re-integration process for the promotion of transformation and acceptance of the inmates and ex- offenders back into the community. Through visits and participation in the prison discharge board meetings, JAM identifies and link up with the ex-mates due for release purposely to organize for post release life support through trainings and other strategic linkages for livelihood access. So far JAM has linked up with the ex-offenders at the community level for training and establishment of kitchen garden and tree nurseries. This is aimed to engage and enhance their livelihood and income capacity.
